AERadio
The tests of load of the program, in fact, are made in an
equipment Pentium III with 512 Mb of 667 ram and 20 hard disk of Gb. The
software actually works with any actual computer with Intel Pentium 4 processors
or AMD equivalent. The necessary hard disk depends on the quantity of audio
information that your radio station needs (to see lower table)

We recommended for greater
comfort of handling and operation:
Resolution of 1024x768 or
higher and screen of appropiate size to the chosen resolution.
DVD or CD-ROM player.
Backup copy system. To be
selected
by the client, normally Recorders of CD or DVD, etc.
Electric protection.
(For some radio stations, it
can be interesting the using of two video cards to work with two simultaneous monitors,
getting so an extended writing-desk. You can install a
second sound card to record the emission that is been played
simultaneusly.
For installation in network Ethernet or
monoposition, consult the following assumptions:
AERADIO INSTALLED IN A SINGLE COMPUTER.
AERadio can be installed
in an only equipment allowing to make the totality of the functions. The
installation in local network is optional but it gets advantages to the radio
stations, because more computers sharing the same information and devices
facilitate the work becouse one user does not interfere of others.
A clear
example is that you cannot modify or create a continuous programming without
interfering in the work of the announcer who is emitting. The recording of
everything what it is being emitted for its later re-emission is recommended
in another machine for not interfering absolutely in the reproduction function
(although this is possible if you have two sound cards).
CONNECTION IN NETWORK .
AERadio changes the
concept of local network used until now in installations in commercial radio
stations simplifying it until the point that any user can use components and
material of reasonable price to benefit from the advantages of the operation
in network of the AERadio package.
Now you can see the
example of the installation of AERadio in a regional radio station. You must
consider that a network of computers can be composed by two or more machines.
The example that we commented next includes five machines and a switch or
commutator for its connection.

CONTROL. It is the
equipment that is used for the daily emission. It has locally installed
AERadio, although in a disc partition different from the one from the
operating system. It stores the sound files to obtain a efficiency.
Requirements:
Minimum 256 Mb of ram, although we recommended 512 Mb. Processor from
Pentium III 667 Mhz. Sound Blaster card or equivalent. Network card
Ethernet 10/100.
PRODUCTION / STUDIO
RECORDING. Equipment where the recording of the publicity is made, and
digitalization of music to hard disk and really where the edition tasks of
the sound files are made. It can be used for the recording of the emissions
for its later reemission.
Requirements: 512 Mb
of ram Processor Pentium III 667 Mhz or higher. Sound Blaster card or
equivalent. CD-ROM or DVD player. Network card Ethernet 10/100.
COMMERCIALS. They make
the reproduction of advertisements solely to show them to their clients.
They have a direct networking with the production equipment.
Requirements:
Minimum 128 Mb of ram Processor from Pentium III 667 Mhz. Sound Blaster
card or equivalent. Network card Ethernet 10/100.
DIRECTION.
Accomplishment of an audit of everything what it has been emitted in
determined dates or moments. Control of the Log. From this equipment the
continuous programming can be modified remotely (combinations).
Requirements:
Minimum 256 Mb of ram, although we recommended 512 Mb. Processor from
Pentium III 667 Mhz. Sound Blaster card or equivalent. Network card
Ethernet 10/100.
BACKUP . Backup copy
accomplishment of the sound files. In a certain moment it can serve as
a reserve equipment and emit with it in case of some mishap in the control
equipment.

III 667 Mhz or higher. Sound Blaster card or equivalent. Network card
